Amber Roth

Dr. Roth teaches Introduction to the Fashion Industry, Textiles, Clothing Construction, Fashion History, Merchandising, Retailing, CAD for Apparel, and other fashion-related courses. She also advises the Kappa Beta Xi Chapter of the Kappa Omicron Nu Honor Society and the Carson-Newman Design Association.

Her research interests focus on exploring and understanding design, from the beginning of the design process with creativity and inspiration and post-consumption with the behavior of the consumer.

Dr. Roth is a member of the American Association of Family and Consumer Sciences (AAFCS) and the International Textile and Apparel Association (ITAA).

She enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, cooking, and sewing.
