Bevan graduated from Carson-Newman in 2015 with a triple major in English, Social Entrepreneurship, and Cross-Cultural Sociology. After graduating, she moved to Japan for 2 years where she taught English. She returned to Carson-Newman in 2017 and completed her MBA in 2021 with a specialization in Nonprofit Leadership.
