People Julie Wright Julie Wright Administrative Assistant to the Provost A 1993 music education Carson-Newman graduate, Mrs. Julie (Hensley) Wright returned to her alma mater in 1998, serving in a variety of administrative positions in the Music Department before joining Adult & Graduate Studies in July, 2018. Currently, she serves as the administrative assistant to the Provost. In addition, Mrs. Wright is a private piano teacher and has maintained a studio in Jefferson City since 1998. As a member of the Music Teachers National Association, she obtained national certification in piano pedagogy in December, 2001. She and her husband, Tom, are members of First Baptist Church in Morristown.
